Dubrovnik Walls

At the heart of Dubrovnik lies its old town, a labyrinth of narrow streets and elegant buildings that seem to rise from the sea itself. With its iconic red-tiled roofs and imposing walls, the old town is a place where history and architecture come together. I strolled through the streets, taking in the sights and sounds of the city, and stopping at one of the many cafes and restaurants to savor the local cuisine and soak up the sun. 

One of the city's most iconic attractions is its city walls, which offer stunning views over the city and the sea. Taking in the view and feeling the sea breeze I couldn't  help but to imagine what it must have been like to defend this city from its many invaders throughout time. When I found this location I knew I had to capture an image that displayed the sheer rock that this old city fortress was built upon. The walls of the city perfectly following the cliffs edge along the coast. I framed my shot and clicked the shutter and this image is the result. A beautiful blend of historic architecture and nature.
